Sorry, you are right. The split of the options is not yet
available in sane-1.0.1, but in the 0.7 version of the backend
that can be downloaded from ftp.muc.de.

However, the problem seems to occur, whenever a 36 bit mode
is selected, so my other remarks are still valid, I think...

I will have to address the problem of the ignored cancels.
