many brands!

Hello,

I have a customer with a so called compeye scanner
www.compeye.com. Does somebody know I SANE supports this parallel
scanner. I just a feeling that the brand Compeye is just a cover up for
a more well know brand.

As for instance with the Trust scanner that is not supported by SANE but
under OS/2 it reacts on IMPOS/2(native OS/2 scanner applicaion) (I just
choose a random Mustek scanner from the list). When I give a scan
command my Trust 2400SP moves a few inch and is then dead (need to turn
it of and back on). Is this just stupid luke or is this an indication
that is a Mustek. When I trace the FCC ID via www.fcc.gov I end up at
Teco Information products. If I remeber it right they also gave the
option to download drivers for the scorpio scanner (which was my
2400SP!).

Why this story my hope is that this Compeye scanner is in fact a more
known brand and that I can get the scanner to work. Any ideas thanks !

Greetings Roderick Klein
