Too bad it doesn't work with a network scanner. It does see my scanner but
can't handle it. (xscanimage can.)

it does scan for me. but preview, resolution and colour scanning
don't work. selecting an area to scan is dicey aswell.

basically all it can do for me is scan a greyscale image at a low
resolution.

scanner is an epson gt7000 accessed via the network.
