Hello all,
seems I've got a problem with release 1.01 pretest 3 for OS/2.
Once copied in a directory I set the epson.conf file to 0x278 to
tell sane I've got an Epson scanner attached to my 2nd parallel port.
I set also the dll.conf file to epson, and tried to invoke scanimage
with the -L option, but it hung up, until I pressed Ctrl-C: upon
appendding a CR to the end of dll.conf, scanimage -L reported only
pnm:0 and pnm:1 as available devices. I invoked scanimage -d EPSON, and
it died saying the EPSON device opening operation was not permitted.

The 0.74 version did not report the same troubles. I will make some
testing of both versions and get some reports, but 'till now I don't
know how to work around it.

PS: I wasn't able to configure sane for Linux, I didn't have the time
to do the job! I will try in the next days.
