I've seen xscanimage get into a busy loop a couple of times on my machine.
Does anyone know about this, or shall I keep tracking it?

The loop seems to consist of a write(1, "my command line or something"), a
getpid(), and a read(0)=0.

This is with sane-1.00 and gimp 1.1.2 -- I'm using xscanimage as a
plug-in.
