does anybody know anything about SANE-support of professional SCSI-
Fujitsu-Scanner (Fujitsu 3096)?

Currently we use a commercial driver on unix-Stations and want to
switch to Linux.

How much effort is it to devellop a backend, which one could be
used as a template ? What do I need to know about the scanner ?
