AGFA 1236S supported ?

I have received a mail asking whether the AGFA SnapScan 1236S is supported
by SANE.

I have digged through the compatibility list on mostang.com and the docs and
sources of SANE 1.00 as well as the web and the ML archives to no avail.

Thus I suppose it is not supported or untested.

Could someone confirm either
- "works, with ... backend" or
- "sort of works with ... backend, but ..." or
- "doesn't work" ?

If noone knows, I'll just assume "untested". Thanks for your efforts and
