Horizotal offset with Mustek SE 6000 SP

Hi, I bought the Mustek ScanExpress 6000 SP today and it works quite
well.
I am using it on my 53c815 SCSI Controller.
However there seems to be some offset error, about 1/2 inch is missing
at the left edge. Are there any parameters which can tune this?
