scsi0 : Generic NCR5380/53C400 Driver
scsi : 1 host.
Vendor: SCANNER Model: Rev: 1.00
Type: Scanner ANSI SCSI revision: 01 CCS
Which means that no scanners were found. The scanner was on, the cable
connected and find-scanner from sane didn't find anything.
The scanner works fine under M$ Windoze, so I suppose this tells you much
'bout no other hardware-type problems are involved...
Please, what do you think I should do know...?
Thanx in advance,
PS. Another thing to mention: Compiling the kernel with static support for
scsi and especialy g_NCR5380 doesn't find anything at all, even if I write at
LILO `linux dtc3181e=0x0240,-1' as documented in mustek-scsi-patch-0.6. Just
two lines saying in a few words that no scsi hosts found:
scsi0: 0 hosts (or something similar)
