Will the scanner part of the HP1100A work with Linux?
The HP1100 is a printer, but there's a scanner option, making it into a
HP1100A. It's not a SCSI-interface, only parallel port. I tried to ask
HP about Linux support, but they only told me that the 1100A supports
Twain 1.6. And if it works, it's great, and if not, they really don't
care :-(
I bought the HP1100, and it would be great to have a scanner that didn't
take up any desk space, as I have really nothing left of that...
