I'm considering buying a scanner to play with and the
cheapest reasonable-looking ones in the UK seem to be
the UMAXes. Apart from my old Sun (which doesn't yet
run Linux) I have no SCSI boxes, so I've been looking
at the parallel port variations.
Nothing on the web site suggests that these are supported,
so I was just wondering if anyone was working on it or
if documentation is available for them. I'm prepared
hack with getting it working if it doesn't involve a
reverse engineering job...
Oh, and while I'm at it; is there a TWAIN (spit) driver
which supports saned from a remote box (or do I have to
write one of them, too? :)
