Sane/2 (0.74), and Canon 300

I am trying to get SANE for OS/2 to work with my SCSI connected Canon
300. The SCSI card is an Asus 200 (Symbios Logic SYM538XX)
Controller.

The first question is: does this versing include the Canon back end?
How do I check?

I have added Canon to dll.conf, and commented all other entries,
except PNM.

I created canon.conf, have tried various entries (as per the readme):
SCSI CANON, and b0t2l0.

As noted by someone else, find-scanner is giving spurious results; it
reports the scanner on every SCSI ID it checks.

When I run: scanimage --help, I get the following error:

Process terminated by SIGSEGV
core dumped
SYS1808:
The process has stopped. The software diagnostic
code (exception code) is 0005.

Thanks for any help.
