Here is a bug report from a Debian sane user for the Coolscan driver.
I am keeping the dependency information in the message, just in case
any of the problems suggest something.

Package: sane Version: 0.74

Since sane 0.74 I recognized that a small border in the left and in the right is produced, which is significant brighter than the rest of the image. This border is about 2% of the image width.

I didn't use sane 0.73 but downgrading to sane 0.72 helped to solve this problem.

I'm using sane with Nikon Coolscan LS-20. I don't know if this is a general problem of all scanners or only this module.

Kind regards

Andreas.
