Problems with new Mustek backend...

after recompiling sane with mustek.c-0.4 and mustek.h-0.4 i get the
following error message while scanning in color mode at 100 dpi (even in
the preview window).

I'm using a Mustek ScanExpress 12000SP connected to a Adaptec 2940 SCSI
adaptor, und everthing worked fine with version 0.3 of the backend.

Anyone who knows how to solve this problem?
