I hope you are not disappointed. As the person who coded most of the
Artec backend, I am not sure how well the AT12 is currently supported,
the webpage that I put up says there is 'alpha' support for the AT12.
I myself have an AT3 so support for that is pretty good. I believe
that with the patches sent in by various people and some changes that I
have made that the AT12 is working fairly well now, but it is nowhere
near perfect right now.

Please do that, on my Artec page, I've made a link to the patch that Uwe
mentioned, but would also like to be able to say on there that someone
has it working with their Artec scanner.
