I just want to let anyone know, that I will now start rewriting the epson
backend (cause it seems to be deserted) using the original specs from epson. I
will try to support protocol levels B1-B8 (that is B6+AAS+Focus == GT9500 and
GT12000) and perhaps also the A level.
The other point of interest is: does anyone who works on xscanimage plans to
change the area-selection interface? I would like to see 'modification'
functions to change a existing selection (currently I can only make a new one
-- but it would be great if you could change the corners/borders or move the
current selection).
