I have just installed sane on a redhat 5.1 system.
I have a umax 1220s scanner and a buslogic 958 scsi adapter.
I can use sane fine as root, but as a user only the pn0 and pn1 devices show up and not the umax one.
I made the group scanner and added the users to it and set the permissions like the man pages stated.
I would appreciate any help.
