SnapScan backend, version 0.5

I've placed the SnapScan backend, version 0.5, on the snapscan web page
at
<http://www.cs.ualberta.ca/~charter/snapscan.html>.

This new version fixes some bugs with the 310/600 support from version
0.4, and
a couple of other minor things. I'm happy to say that several SnapScan
600 users
have reported success using the backend, except for some minor glitches,
so 600 support is now at least partly tested.
