Did my note not go through? Or am I being held up since my bulk mail receive is different than my sending acount?

A while ago I complained that I could not get a future domain to work with my Umax Vista S8 scanner.
Well I foobared the system and did a vanilla RedHat 5.1 Install.
>From my previous note:

I now have my NCR no parity (from an early mac I think) 1X Cdrom attached an it works fine.
When I boot, I see the Umax at Scsi 3., and the CDROM at 5.
But when fdomain loads I see the CDROM only.
This is not dual boot.

I do not have a spare scsi driver at the moment, but I have had this scanner work under NT with an onboard apatec, and the UDS freebie (to which I attached my Jaz as well!).
BTW I do hear the scanner do its "must make noise to tell scsi card that I am here" when I load the driver.
