During the last few days I have sent three messages to the list
sane-devel@mostang.com.
It seems they all get distributed to the list. However, only one
has appeared in the WWW archive. This limits the usefulness of
the archive somewhat, as people can not follow entire threads.

In fact, I believe there are many people around (like myself)
who choose to consult the archive rather than subscribe to the
mailing list. Not all Sane related issues are interesting for
everybody. With a "Usenet-like" WWW discussion area (like the
archive indeed is) one can pick the issues of interest, and much
bandwidth is saved too!
