If you have not upgraded to v0.8 of the microtek backend (see the web page,
http://www.mir.com/mtek/), I would guess that some internal bit-thrashing
buffers are overflowing. The newer version fixes the way in which they
are allocated.
A debugging log would verify this, but you're better off just trying the
newest version first.
