Hi Paul,

The designation "parallel-port scanner" is misleading in this context.
The "parallel-port" driver in the Mustek backend by now only supports
the 600 II N, which comes with a special I/O card. (NOT attachable to
what most people call the parallel port: the printer connector !)

If you want, SCSI is also nothing but a byte-parallel interface.

I don't know if any other printer-port scanners are supported by now.
