SCSI ports on scanners

While I don't have a scanner yet, I will start looking for one in the near
future. However, my current task is to get a SCSI enclosure for my tape
drive. In order to keep the number of different types of cables to a
minimum (I will also be connecting my scanner and tape drive to a laptop),
I'm wondering what kind of physical connectors various SCSI scanners have,
so I can get the same for the SCSI enclosure. Choices would be:
___________________
50-pin Centronics (like a wider printer cable) ( )
___________ \ =============== /
50-pin mini-micro (SCSI-2) \ ::::::: / \_______________/
---------

I've currently got my eye on a UMAX, but info about other types of scanners
would be appreciated as well.

Cheers, Andreas
