Kodak DC-20/25 Backend?

I'd like to know there is any interest in a backend for the
Kodak DC-20 and DC-25. I've been working on one for my own use and
it mostly meets my needs, but probably needs some tweaking before it
can "go public." It compiles under Linux (2.0.33) and can read pictures from
my DC-25. The DC-20 is very similar and it should work also, but since I
don't have one it hasn't been tested, and it also needs to be tested on
other operating systems. I'd like to correspond with folks that might
be interested in testing this (very) alpha version of the software.

I would also be interested in some discussion on what options need to
be supported on digital cameras since the user interface models that
were developed for scanners don't seem to map perfectly to cameras.

My apologies if either of these topics have already been discussed. I'm
new to this mailing list, but Ilooked through the last few months of the
archives and didn't see much on either topic.

[Note that the DC-20 and DC-25 are no longer manufactured by Kodak, but
they can be obtained quite cheaply. Kodak sells reconditioned units
throught their web site (http://webs.kodak.com/US/en/store/?path=Category/163)
for $99 (DC-20) and $149 (DC-25) and I've seen them offered for comparable
prices in auctions at http://www.eBay.com.]
