I wouldn't call the SnapScan 600 supported yet. We've put some
preliminary stuff in the snapscan backend but almost nobody has tested
it and those one or two who have had problems. The StudioStar isn't
supported by the snapscan backend, and I don't know if it's a close
compatible with any other manufacturer's scanners.
