Since "Arcus II" really is a "ScanMaker III",
my first guess would be that it is a "ScanMaker II"
which is supported by the microtek-driver.
Just add the id and detection string (you will see them if
you set the microtek debug environment to 128)
like in my latest patch and give it a shot.
