The PhotoSmart scanner works somewhat with the normal HP backend (see
sane-hp man-page for details). I believe Peter Kirchgessner
<Pkirchg@aol.com> has been working on PhotoSmart-specific support, but
I'm not sure how far he has gotten. If the issue is a matter of
needing the right docs, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
I'm unaware of anyone working on a SprintScan backend (if someone _is_
working on such a thing, please let me know so I can update the
PROJECTS file).
