Mustek Paragon 1200IIISP

I've spent a great deal of time trying to get some/any kind of response
from a Mustek Paragon 1200IIISP and Adaptec AVA1505. I have verified
at least minimal functionality under Win95. I abandoned the DTCT436P
controller that was included with the scanner after reading the
numerous negative comments here.

ANY help appreciated...

Here are the vitals under kernel 2.0.30... similar results from 2.1.81

# export SANE_DEBUG_MUSTEK=127 ; scanimage --list_devices

Thanks in advance,
