Hello Sane-Team !

I have a Sun IPX with Solaris 2.5.1
installed and i wanted to use the Sane-prog.
with a Mustek scanner Paragon 1200 SP, so
i downloaded the latest version of Sane (0.71),
but i don't get it even compiled, cause of an
error in the Makefile in the backend directory
(the first two dir's were compiled ok, the rest i don't know)

The error is like: Error in Makefile line 70
more than one % pattern
on the right hand side

(this must be a difficult one, i think)

So my questions:

1.Does anybody have a solution for the above error ?

2.Does anybody have any other tips or tricks for Sun/Solaris
and scanning ?

3.I don't have bought the Mustek yet, so does
the scanner work on a Sun w/Sane ?
(or is a HP the better solution ?)

4. Perhaps someone has a compiled binary or the
correct Makefile(s) specific for Sol.2.5.1 ???

That's all, so far .

Thanks for any answers concerning this !

Greetings
J.P. Meyer
