Hi!
There are different interface cards for epson scanners. The parallel
interface is working with
a bidirectional parallel port on the pc, the scsi interface with an scsi
host adapter.
The Epson backend of SANE 0.71 supports only scanners connected via
scsi.
Iīm working on the parallel connection at the moment. If you donīt want
to wait there
is an older package ppic0.5 who supports epson scanners with parallel
interface.
