My system reports my Astra 1200S as a SCSI-2 device:
Target 5:
Device Type: Scanner
Vendor: UMAX
Product: Astra 1200S
Rev Level: V2.6
ANSI version compliance: SCSI-2
0 bytes of vendor unique data

I haven't tried to run it concurrently with other SCSI devices.

BTW - my scanner came with an ISA SCSI adaptor.
