for work on the newhp-backend, I would like to have more information
if HP-scanners really respond as described in the SCL-documentation.
I have a program, that inquires the various SCL-commands from the scanner
and creates a listing of commands. I only can run the program
on a HP PhotoSmart Photoscanner. If there is someone using another
HP scanner and could run the program on it, please contact me
(just to prevent that I receive 100 printouts of the ScanJet 4p :-) )
The program is available at ftp://members.aol.com/pkirchg/pub/sane
in source (includeing Makefile, Makefile.in for the sane-0.71/tools-
directory) and as Linux-386 executable. There is also a printout of that
program
of the Photoscanner available.
