I applied the patch and the scanner
ist identified when starting xscanimage
but neither preview nor scan work. It resets
somehow (moves it's tray) and gives the
error message: "Failed to start scanner: Invalid argument"
This is what xscanimage prints on startup:

this is all I know at the moment, I'm ready
