Hi.
at first sorry for my english :-(

Im a linux user, I'm under redHat 5.0 and i try to use a mustek scanner.

The scaner is the device /dev/sga , i had make a link for /dev/scanner
to /dv/sga and i do chmod 777 /dev/sga

the file /proc/scsi/scsi is:

-------------------------------------------
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 06 Lun: 00
Vendor: SCANNER Model: Rev: 1.06
Type: Scanner ANSI SCSI revision: 01 CCS

---------------------------------------
And my scsi controller is a teckram dc390

I run the gimp, and when i try to scan images , just when i do the
option "device dialog" the gimp crah and the error message is:

query plug-in: "/usr/lib/gimp/0.99.12/plug-ins/xscanimage"
[snapscan] add_device: "SCANNER " is not an AGFA SnapScan
[snapscan] sane_snapscan_init: failed to add device "/dev/scanner"

¿ how can i say gimp that the scanner is a mustek?

thanks
