Isn't there a third option about "alternate-correction" or something ?
I.e. turning on the FW 1.00 correction method ?
David is this in the options now, or will he need to hack it ?
Might be worth a try.
And yes - I repeat myself, but : Make sure you power-cycle the scanner after
each try with different LD-correction setting. It memorizes wrong attempts
and then keep doing the wrong thing ...
