I still have one problem.
If I acquire an image, grayscale, at 100dpi resolution almost
everything goes fine but the scanner stops the image acquisition a few
lines before the phisical end of the glass.
Then, if I try to acquire an image, grayscale again, at 200 dpi
resolution the scanner does not stop at all and tries to continue the
image acquisition even if already at the end of the glass. So I have to
stop it manually to avoid a hardware failure.
The image acquired at 200dpi seems to be "compressed".
The higher the resolution, the worse the image is.
Here there is the output of scanimage with SANE_DEBUG_MUSTEK=128:
[sanei_init_debug]: Setting debug level of mustek to 128.

I know that my scanner should not work at all with sane due to its
firmware revision, but sane is my last resort. Please help!
I had this problem with sane-0.66 and with sane-0.68, too.
Compilation goes fine everytime, but here I include my libs version:
libc.so.5.3.12
libg++.so.27.1.4
libX11.so.6.1
libXaw.so.6.1
libXaw3d.so.6.1
libXext.so.6.1
libXpm.so.4.9
libXt.so.6.0
libXtst.so.6.1
Hardware:
AsusTeK TX97-XE, ATX form factor
AMD K6 200MHz
64 MBytes EDO RAM 60ns
4,3 GBytes Quantum Stratos UDMA Hard Disk
850 MBytes Quantum Trailblazer Hard Disk
16MaX LG CD-Rom Reader
Adaptec Aha1505 SCSI controller
Mustek 600 II CD scanner (aka 6000CZ)
Software:
Red Hat Linux 4.1
Linux kernel 2.0.33
Scsi generic support
Adaptec Aha152x scsi driver
Sane-0.66 and/or Sane-0.68 (I tried both)
Please tell me if you need more informations about my system, or if I
have to download new libs.
Thanx a lot,
Roberto Cespa
