Does anyone know of a problem like this. About half the time when I try
to scan an image (even in line-art or grayscale) with the 610S, it locks
up just as it is finishing the scan.
I am using a T130B SCSI card to connect the scanner to.
It seems that, just as the scan is finishing, instead of writing the file
and exiting, the scan light just keeps blinking and the system locks up.
I don't know what the cause of the lockup is, but it sure is irritating.
I wouldn't mind so much if the xscanimage process would freeze, but it
hangs the entire system, that won't do since this is a multiuser machine.
Is there a patch I can use, or a SCSI timeout I can set, or something,
that will either prevent this lockup or allow me to recover?
