Hi,

I just wanted to mention, that it looks like the latest
gtk-release (gtk+-971201) obviously introduced a new bug:

It keeps is issuing warnings

** WARNING **: file gtkwidget.c: line 2053 (gtk_widget_set_events):
"!GTK_WIDGET_REALIZED (widget)"

particularly, when turning the "custom gamma table" on and off.
Occasionally, it crashes after a while.

I am using the umax backend - don't know, whether other backends
are also affected..
