I've got a problem with the Linux recognizing my Mustek MFS-12000SP
scanner
on my second SCSI adapter.
I'm using kernel 2.0.30, a Symbios Logic 8751SP as a primary SCSI
controller with
a hard drive, a CD-ROM and a CD-Writer attached, a Symbios Logic 8100S
as
a secondary SCSI controller with only my scanner attached to the
external
connector.
Back when I only had the 8100S adapter the board recognized my scanner
on
bootup but now it doesn't. Instead, I get the following messages:

I already set the timeout value in the ncr53c8xx.c file as described in
the
man page of sane-scsi.
Can anybody tell me how I get my scanner to work?
