This might indeed be the problem. Setting the "option strip-height" or using a
higher resolution, everything works fine.
At the moment I solved the problem by setting strip-height 3, which makes
lineart mode work, but slows down the other modes and the preview.
I've already tried to set a longer timeout in the low level SCSI driver
(aha1542), but I've not yet found the setting. There are a lot of "wait times"
set, but no timeout. Does anybody happen to know what to change?
I don't want to try out the settings one after the other, as after each try that
failed, I have to reboot the computer...
