I dont think so.
I did some more testing and triing to debug the driver, while doing this
I testet with enforcing a Read of only a single Scanline.
(So READ_SCANNED_DATA should get all lines with single line calls.
The Scanner does something interessting:
It scans about 10-15 times aa Area of 10x10 mm.
This sounds like the scanner scans more than the READ-DATA reads, and the
scanner just drops the DATA ?? So it get forced to read more thean
the AREA_WINDOW Command told it to.

while testing with tring to READ more then was READ, I could see,
that the lost Block of Scannlines seems to be 16 Lines
(while being in 1200 dpi mode of the 1200SP )

PS: How is the SCSI transfer doing the transfer without really noing how much
data is coming along, since the READ_SCANNED_DATA just gets the number of
lines.
