For those of you owning or otherwise interested in Connectix QuickCams:
there is now a campaign attempting to convince Connectix to make the
specs for their VIDEC compression algorithm available publically.
Without the spec, it is not possible for any third-party projects (such
as SANE) to support 16 bit color mode. If you want to join or learn more
